Biography
- Luz Clemencia is Senior Consultant of the Firm in Tax Law, Estate Planning, and International Trade/WTO areas. She has experience in tax law, customs and international trade, foreign exchange and foreign investment and control laws issues. She has participated in domestic and multinational consulting and tax planning, estate planning for individuals, families and family businesses.
- Luz Clemencia is lawyer from Colegio Mayor Nuestra Señora del Rosario, with postgraduate degree in Tax Law from the same university, and postgraduate degree in Customs Law. She has also attended the following courses: “International Tax Law” from Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires, Argentina and “International Aspects of Taxation” from Georgetown University.
- She has been speaker at national and international conferences related to tax and estate planning matters, and she is one of the founders of STEP Colombian Chapter (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), as well as its first president and director of the STEP Latam Conference in 2017.
