Juan Camilo Mateus is a Senior Associate of the Firm, focusing his practice on Tax, Wealth and Estate Planning, and Litigation.
He has experience advising national and international clients on the design and implementation of tax strategies to optimize their businesses and mitigate risks, as well as in tax compliance and the management of national and local taxes. In the area of wealth management, he advises families on the organization and protection of their assets, with a particular focus on multi-jurisdictional structures. His practice also extends to consulting on foreign exchange law and foreign investment. Likewise, he represents clients in tax controversies, litigation, and claims before administrative authorities and judicial courts in Colombia.
Juan Camilo holds a Law Degree from Universidad de los Andes and a Postgraduate Degree in Tax Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
